The Finnish keyboard hides the backtick

Markdown on a Finnish keyboard layout is a small adventure: the backtick is a dead key. Press Shift + ´ (next to Backspace) and nothing appears — the keyboard is waiting to combine it with a vowel to make something like à.

To get a literal backtick, press Shift + ´ and then space.
